Lal Bahadur Nagar or L.B.Nagar or Bahadurguda is an assembly constituency in Hyderabad, India. It was once a Municipality in Ranga Reddy District in the Andhra Pradesh. It was earlier known as Bahadurguda.

History

L.B.Nagar area was once planned to be the capital of Qutubshahi kingdom (Sultan nagar).Thiry years back, one could easily see a ruined fort in the L.B.nagar from the highway , but now we can see the fort ruins at khilla maisamma, masjid in alkapuri,Mall maisamma in L.B.Nadgar highway, masjid in NTR nagar, fort wall along the boundary of RR court complex. Now they are all are either occupied or in ruins. A magalith cairns were found in Chandrapuri colony but now they are also occupied.

Commercial area

L.B.Nagar has a shopping strip that extends the length of the main road with ample shopping choices.It is in middle of the way to secunderabad and Hyderabad from RAJIV GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT providing ample of facilities for visitors with many number of hotels and restaurents.

Nagar has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 69%. In L.B. Nagar, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
